Shipping and Delivery

At the Hemp Store, we truly value our customers so we like to show our appreciation by offering fast processing and shipping of your order, without trying to profit by inflating the postage costs.

We trust and use both Australia Post and Fastway Couriers. You will be given the option at the checkout based on your location and you can decide which company you would like to deliver your products to you.



Fastway Couriers

Fastway couriers will be able to offer cheaper postage rates to customers who live in major cities and within the Sydney and Central Coast Regions of NSW. You can compare the price between Fastway and Australia Post at the checkout to see if Fastway Couriers can get your products to you at a better rate.

  • We charge you only what we pay for shipping – No More!
  • We use Australia Post Bags ; 500g, 3kg and 5kg, which include tracking.

In order to provide you with the best possible service and value we no longer use registered post for all of our parcels. You can now select whether you wish to use standard Australia Post Satchels (with tracking) or add receiving signature for extra security (+$2.95). You may even select the express post option for those wanting a speedy delivery.

PLEASE NOTE; Parcel Post Bags and Express Post bags are traceable but do not require a signature for delivery. We do not accept responsibility for parcels once they have been scanned as delivered. Please request registered post if you are concerned about perishable and/or valuable goods being left unattended on your doorstep.

While we take extra care in order to ensure that customers receive their orders promptly, there are certain aspects that may have an effect on the deliveries being dispatched and received.

  • We aim to have all orders completed and dispatched within 24 hours (except weekends where they will be processed on the next business day).
  • In the rare event of a delay we will email you to notify you of the situation.
  • Parcels are sent via Australia Post. Delivery time frames may vary depending on delivery location. Please note that the time frames specified below are in addition to the 24 hrs we need to prepare your order for dispatch.
  • Regular Post: 2-5 working days. WA and NT are 5-7 working days.

If you would like to make alternative shipping arrangements, please email your request or give us a call, prior to placing an order. understands that we have an obligation to ensure that you receive your orders and whilst Australia Post are very efficient, we cannot guarantee that a situation may not arise whereby a parcel gets lost in transit. In the rare event that an order should be lost, or damaged, be assured that the problem will be rectified asap. For any damaged orders, please call us as soon as the order arrives, (02) 4344 2300 – 7 Days a week from 9am til 5pm.



You can order any of our Hemp products securely through the website. We offer and trust Paypal and E-way as our preferred payment processing service, due to the high level of security they offer for online purchases.


Payment through Paypal can be made using your Paypal account OR your credit card. When you are ready to place your order and press the ‘Checkout with Paypal button’, you will be taken to a page similar to the image below and you can choose to pay with either ‘Paypal’ or ‘Credit card’ as shown in the image below.


Payment through E-Way is simple and allows you to enter your credit card details quickly and no account is needed.

Placing an Order Off-line

If preferred, you can choose to place your order by email or by phone. provides several payment options as described below:

Goods being paid for by cheque, money order or by direct deposit will not be despatched until the cheque, money order or direct deposit payment has been finalised.

Once you have ordered your products you will receive a confirmation email itemising all charges and fees associated with your purchase. This will include the total cost of your purchase as well as the shipping and GST amounts that are applicable.

Payment should then be made by your selected payment option (ie. direct deposit etc). If paying by cheque or money order please enclose a copy of your invoice along with your payment.

Once your payment has been finalised will advise you (either by email or phone) that your order has been despatched.

Out of Stock Items:

In the event that the items you have ordered are out of stock, you will be notified via email and/or telephone. Your ordered items will be placed automatically on backorder unless a request for exchange has been received.



Our current shopping cart does not allow for international shipping but it can be arranged by simply emailing us your order and we will reply quickly with a competitive freight quote for your chosen destination.



We will happily exchange any product that, 1) is not what you thought it was, 2) is the wrong size or colour, or 3) if you have just changed your mind. You will, however, be responsible for return postage cost and the amount credited to you will be for the value the of products only (no postage costs can be reimbursed sorry). Returns or exchange of goods will not be accepted or honoured if the item/s have been used or defaced in any way. Any items that are to be returned for a refund or exchange must be returned within 30 days of receipt of goods. All returns must have a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). To obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) contact us via email, post or telephone and provide a detailed explanation for your returns/refund/exchange. We will then contact you with the outcome of your request, you will then receive a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) if your request has been approved.
Please ensure that your return package includes;

1. Invoice number and Invoice date
2. An approved Returns Authorisation Number
3. Original packaging

In the event of a refund, which has been approved and accepted, you may choose to receive either a store credit to the value of returned goods or a refund of returned goods. will not be held responsible for returned goods lost or damaged whilst in transit. Potentially this could alter the outcome of your returns request, so we strongly recommend that you send returned goods via registered or insured postage.
